Recently, I got a mail stating that www.songs.pk is a terrorist site and all of its revenue goes to terrorist organizations (I wonder from where the sender got this news). Though I know that songs.pk is an illegal, but this terrorist thing was new one.
Songs.pk was created on
20/January/2006 (from pakwhois.com) on canadahosting.net. It is a part of funmaza.com which is a very popular songs downloading website. Currently its alexa ranking is 683 and Google P.R. is 4.”It has ranked 51 in India”.
As they are distributing pirated stuff, ad-sense account is banned for them. They use other advertising agencies to generate revenues. According to a source approx daily income of songs.pk is $1800 !
It is illegal to download music from these sites. Actually when you download music from internet without paying it becomes illegal. and the irony is most of the people in India don't know that its offensive. Who cares. ;)Every time a user downloads stuff from net.its IP gets recorded.Thus they can catch you easily. But catching you will be too expensive. So don't expect anything like CBI will surrounded your house and u will be busted.
So, guys i was talking about songs.pk is terrorist site or not.As far as my knowledge concerns, i didn't found any unusual activity on this site except there's contact page.

Here 3 addresses are given and one of the office they have is in AGRA !. This is strange as there is no such office in Agra. I think this site is administered in Pakistan itself. but just because its a Paki site,we cant say that its a terrorist site.

though we don't have any proof that site is doing something illegal but who knows ? so always batter to Protect Your Identity n Surf Anonymously . use a appropriate program while downloading songs
