Google provides an installation kit which contains
Installation is very easy and quick
Open the spindle of fiber-optic cable.
Attached the sinker with end of the cable and drop the wire end into toilet.
Flush it.
Plug in the cable into the wireless router.
Run the installation CD and install the Google toolbar and other essentials

It is totally free for up to 8mbps. If you need more speed then Goog charges 24 $ per month (32mbps).Currently it runs on windows XP and vista only.Mac and Linux version is coming soon.
Currently this services is available only in U.S. and Canada.
